Fugitive emission are emissions of gases or vapors from pressurized equipment due to leaks and other unintended or irregular releases of gases, mostly from industrial activities. As well as the economic cost of lost commodities, fugitive emissions contribute to air pollution and climate change.
Responsd to this matter, Artius Pegasus Spiral Wound Gasket has been specially engineered to achieve oil and gas industry fugitive emissions requirements, such as refer to Chevron Fugitive Emissions.
Test Artius Pegasus have been tested in accordance with the CEFT protocol meets current EPA fugitive emissions requirements levels where as the result show that Low Emission Gaskets comply with the allowable fugitive emission leakage levels.
